  • Products/Services

    ORGANIC ADDITIVES

Originally developed to help liquefy solid sludge, the organic product has also proven effective in replacing Naphtha and Condensate as a cutter stock allowing:

    • Reduced heating prior to export
    • Increased pumping rates
    • Reduction of deposit build-up in the pipelines

    HOMOGENISATION TECHNOLOGY

The application of our dynamic cavitation blender in the export lines

improves the overall oil quality and prevents stratification in the lines

    SEPARATION TECHNOLOGY

Current test and developments are underway to remove sulphur and other metals mechanically reducing the cost of sulphur scavengers and improving the value of the oil

  • Milestones

Major oil producer in South America is looking to substitute, decrease, or eliminate the use of Naphtha as cutting fluid in the field export pipeline with a proven environmentally friendly lower cost substitute.

CTG is in exclusive negotiations with the pipeline operator, to enter a 5 year supply contract, with extensions, for additive supply for this project.

Laboratory tests have been carried out on the pipeline oil showing viscosity improvements of >200%. The project will be developed in phases as follows:

Phase 1   A pilot test will be carried out commencing in Q4 2016

Phase 2   Treatment of 80,000 bbl/d at the discharge station delivered by road transport.

Phase 3  Installation of a treatment plant linked to the pipeline, processing an   additional 140,000 bbl/d.

Phase 4   Expand the solution to the remaining Company oil fields providing an   additional 380,000 bbl/d

Huge potential follow-on in-country and wider in South America if pilot test is successful
